Our Approach

We try to keep things simple. Our approach is to find your problem isolate it and treat it with the best of our expertise. After our consultation we document everything and send you a report on our findings. The action you wish to take from there is entirely up to you. We can offer to carry out the necessary remedies as well and fix any issues that we have documented. Told you it was simple!

Our Methodologies

To complete each activity on a project we apply one or more methodologies. These tried-and-tested techniques and processes for completing each activity are our way of making sure each project benefits from our years of experience of running successful web projects.
Each of our methodologies is simple and easy to follow: most can be described in one page or less. Each describes:

• A step-by-step process for applying the methodology, including which steps are obligatory and which could be missed out on smaller projects. For example, the methodology for 'High-Level Technical Design' includes a step 'Data Modelling', which is obligatory, and a step 'Low-Level Design', which is not obligatory (but recommended for anything other than very small projects).

• The expected outputs of the methodology, eg 'Technical Design Document'.

• Lessons learned: common problems or issues that have occurred on past projects and how to avoid them.

In Practice
We recognize that no two projects are the same and so our methodologies are flexible: for each project we choose which will be needed, and how far they will be applied. Although we have a structured approach to running projects, we do not believe in doing work for the sake of it. This philosophy is adhered to in everything we do; we will only do work that we believe will increase the chance of the success of the project (so no long-winded documents!)
